God verseël ons hande

Die Kaapse weer is gewoonlik baie ontwrigtend en mense word verplig om binneshuis te bly. Ons lees in Job 37 dat die Here onder onder sulke omstandighede ons hande "verseel", m.a.w. die mens kan nie met sy gewone werksaamhede voortgaan nie. Dieselfde teks gee ons ook die rede daarvoor: sulke geleenthede is daar dat ons as mense ons eie werk sal staak om daardeur  geleentheid te kry om God se werk in ons lewens te bedink.
